Management Team
The Intersel team is known for its professionalism and responsiveness, and draws its strength from a diversity of nationalities, education and cultural backgrounds. In London, we also work alongside professionals from Libertas Partners and AIM Nominated Advisers (Nomads).
For more than 30 years, Salim has managed assets for his family and other family offices, overseeing funds of more than $2bn across the hospitality, real estate and financial sectors. His track record includes more than 200 assets in France and Spain, alongside successful projects in emerging markets, and in recent years he has focused on advising, developing, acquiring and raising capital for fintech companies. He holds an MBA from Manchester Business School.
Yekaterina has nine years of experience in private equity investment for family offices. She leads Intersel's strategy and transaction selection process and has worked on the financing of transactions of more than $1.5bn. She previously served in the Project Finance team at MBI International & Partners, an Intersel client. Yekaterina holds a Master's in Finance and speaks English, French and Russian fluently.
Ryan has more than 20 years of senior management and board experience, specialising in originating, negotiating and financing projects in emerging markets. Recognising that access to funding is a principal constraint on infrastructure delivery, he has built a successful strategy of winning business by arranging finance for projects in developing countries. He works closely with export credit agencies (ECAs), development finance institutions and commercial banks to offer fully financed contracts on concessional terms. Recent projects include contracts of $50–150m in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean, using ECA, PPP, BOOT and similar structures. Ryan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Elie is a corporate officer based in Beirut, responsible for day-to-day operations. Over ten years with Intersel, he has held a range of administrative roles and built extensive experience working with Lebanese banks and institutions. He holds a bachelor's degree from the Technical University of Beirut.
Paul is a multilingual senior executive with more than 25 years at a Fortune 500 company. His experience spans corporate turnaround, general management, project management, business development, strategic sales, marketing and operations, with successful assignments across the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
Elizabeth works internationally as Executive Assistant to the CEO. She holds a law degree and a Master's in International Corporate Law from City University London.
Frauke manages Intersel's administrative affairs. Over the past 20 years, she has held several management positions across the real estate, hospitality and transport industries, most recently as part of the management team at Twin Jet International. She holds a degree in management and speaks English and German fluently.
